Getting Started
What is Solros?
Solros collects stories from everyone who was part of a moment — a wedding, a new baby, a life remembered — and turns them into one printed book. Contributors share videos, audio, photos and written notes. QR codes in the book play the videos.
How is Solros different?
Most memory products are built for one storyteller, or they only store photos and videos. Solros is built for many people, each sharing their own side of one person or occasion, all in one book.
What is a Living Memory?
It's what you create with Solros: every contributor's stories, gathered around one person or occasion. It becomes your printed book plus a digital archive where the videos play.
What occasions does it work for?
Any moment worth remembering. Weddings, newborns and funerals are the most common, but people also use Solros for birthdays, retirements, reunions and family history. The prompts change with the occasion; the process stays the same.
How do I set one up?
Sign up, name your Living Memory, pick your occasion and prompts, and choose when submissions open and close. Then add your contributor list — we text everyone their invite. You also get a link and QR code to share anywhere.
How do contributors share a story?
They tap the link or scan the QR code — no app or password, just a short access code. They pick a prompt, then record a video or audio clip, upload a photo, or write a note. AI transcribes it, they check the text, and they submit.
Does anyone check submissions before I see them?
No — you see every submission first. You approve every story before it goes in the book, and you can ask for a change or leave a story out. Each story reflects its contributor's own account; Solros doesn't fact-check what people share. If you choose the white glove service then a Solros staff member can review and manage the submission experience.
What happens when submissions close?
You approve the stories you want. Solros drafts the book layout, you review it and request edits, then you approve and we print.
Can someone else review submissions for me?
Yes. With White-glove review, our team approves, rejects or requests changes using criteria you set up front. If something's unclear, we ask you instead of guessing. You still own the final book.
Pricing & Orders

How long does shipping take?
Our first order arrived within 14 days.
What if I need to cancel, or my book arrives damaged?
Please reach out to us at support@heysolros.com. You must reach out within 7 days of receiving your product to receive a replacement.
Are there recurring costs?
Only if you want to keep the digital archive online after the first year. See the next question.
Hosting, QR codes & privacy
What happens to the digital archive after 12 months?
You have two options: renew yearly, or pay once for hosting as long as Solros operates. Check out our pricing page.
If I stop paying, do the QR codes stop working?
No. If hosting lapses, the QR code shows a page explaining the archive is paused, with a way to reactivate it. Your stories stay stored.
Will the QR codes break if Solros changes something?
No. Each QR code points to a permanent Solros ID, not a file, so we can move where videos are stored without any book going dark.
